Design Award 2026
Annual granting of the award
DOFAS annually grants the Design Award to an exhibitor at the exhibition with a surprising garden furniture design.
What is the procedure?
Visitors of the exhibition can vote on their favourite design. These designs are exhibited in the Design Experience Room during the exhibition days. Voting can only be done in person by submitting a voting form. Only visitors on Tuesday May 20 can cast a vote.
How is the winner selected?
The design with the highest number of visitor votes will count for 50% in the determination of the final winner by the expert jury.
One winner
The winner receives the Design Award 2023. There are no prizes for second and third place.
When will the award be handed out?
The winner will be announced during the Awards ceremony on the first exhibition day on Tuesday May 20th.
Innovation Award 2026
Annual granting of the award
Fair organizer DOFAS is awarding the Innovation Award for the second time in response to the increasing number of requests as to whether even more attention could be paid to innovation during the fair. Therefore, in addition to the Design Award, the annual Innovation Award has been created. This will be awarded to an exhibitor who will show the most innovative product during the fair.
What are the criteria?

One winner
The winner will receive the 2026 Innovation Award. There are no prizes for second and third place.
When will the award be presented?
The winner will be announced at the award ceremony on Tuesday, May 20th, between 5:00 and 5:30 p.m.
DOFAS ‘Pluim’ 2025
Annual award
DOFAS has been awarding the “Pluim” annually since 2017. This award was established for the company or person who has made a special achievement in garden furniture country.
How does the procedure work?
Three companies are nominated by the DOFAS board.
How is the winner determined?
An expert professional jury determines the final winner.
One winner
The winner receives the DOFAS Pluim 2023. There are no prizes for second and third place.
When will the DOFAS Pluim be awarded?
The winner will be announced during the presentation of the various awards on Tuesday, May 20th between 5:00 and 5:30 p.m.
